By being the only provider of G bridges and saddles, we've been offering a Conversion Kit for several years.

BUT NOW... We have done the work for you! We converted the Mahogany Seagull Merlin EQ D into a Seagull Merlin EQ G (GDGG). We have upgraded the strings to our custom Stringjoy G strings with the Seagull Merlin G bridge (and they sound gooood).

The Merlin M4 Series dulcimer guitars are great instruments for beginners and accomplished travelers alike!  The Merlin's wider neck and shorter body length make it a great learning tool for younger hands, while their sturdy construction makes them perfect for the traveling musician in you.  

This M4 model has a B-Band preamp, making it possible to plug into an amplifier or computer recording device.  It also has a built-in tuner (which is so nice!)... for those times when you want to rock out in a different sort of way, while still making sure you're in tune.

It ships strung and tuned G. Plus... and this is pretty cool... Because we did the conversion for you, making a D into a G instrument, we have that lovely D bridge saddle sitting here, so we're going to include that in your sale.  Which means you can swap your G back to D anytime you like!  (BONUS!)
