Pre-Order Policy

How do pre-orders work?

To pre-order, please customize your Cumberland River Guitar or River Dulcimer by selecting either the Player’s Edition or the Deluxe Edition as well as whether you’d like a right-handed or left-handed version. Add it to your cart and complete your payment using any of our payment options. Once that's done, you're officially on the pre-order list! 

Please note that we don’t accept partial payments or deposits, so payment must be made in full. If you'd like, you can use payment plans through PayPal, Apple Pay, or Affirm to finance your purchase on your end. The great news? Your pre-order price is locked in once you’ve paid, so you won’t have to worry about any price changes.

All pre-orders are handmade, one at a time, right here in Nashville by our expert luthier. Once your instrument is ready, we’ll send you a confirmation email with your shipping status. When it ships, you’ll receive another email with a tracking number.

Pre-orders typically take about 3-5 months to complete, though we aim to finish them sooner. The earlier you submit your pre-order, the sooner we’ll get started on it—so why wait? Pre-order your instrument today!
