Hi, I'm Ryan.
I’m a lifelong guitarist who discovered an instrument called the dulcimer guitar (aka stick dulcimer)—and immediately saw what it could become.
I loved how accessible it was.
I loved how it opened new creative doors.
But I wanted something that felt more like a body, depth, and resonance like the guitars I’d been playing for 30+ years... an instrument you’d be proud to own, whether it's your first or your fifteenth.
So I went to the workbench.
And that journey became Inglewood Instruments.
"It's a beautiful instrument. I couldn't be happier!"
-Harri in Australia
The proof is in the playing:
-
“I absolutely love my Cumberland. I have many dulcimer guitars in my collection, and this instrument stands up with the best of craftsmanship. The sound is amazing and resonates like an acoustic guitar. I look forward to many fun years of plucking and strumming on this beautiful piece of musical art.”
- Joshua in Kentucky
-
"Impressive!"
- Dr. Joe in California
-
“For me it is easy to play and I have a lot of fun with it. And it has very nice sound.... Before I ''played" guitar (sometimes too difficult for me, then I lost the interest) and ukulele but this Cumberland Guitar now is my most favorite instrument. I play and sing and have a lot of fun!”
- Christa in Denmark
