The Merlin M4 Series dulcimer guitars are great instruments for beginners and accomplished travelers alike!  The Merlin's wider neck and shorter body length make it a great learning tool for younger hands, while their sturdy construction makes them perfect for the traveling musician in you.

This Seagull M4 model has a B-Band preamp, making it possible to plug into an amplifier or computer recording device.  It also has a built-in tuner (which is so nice!)... for those times when you want to rock out in a different sort of way, while still making sure you're in tune.

It ships tuned to D (DADD), but could easily be tuned up or down by a whole step if needed. (NOTE: tuning to G is not an option without replacing strings and modifying the bridge).

** Factory Seconds ("SF") are identical to standard instruments but are deemed to have a B-stock wood choice. We are not allowed to sell SF instruments at market rate, so you get a high-quality instrument for a lower price point!
