Quit for the right reason
Share
Have you ever picked up an instrument… gotten excited… and then quietly drifted away from it?
Yeah. Me too.
In this video, I wanted to talk a little bit about quitting — or at least, what we call “quitting.” Because I think a lot of us (especially as adults) carry around this idea that if we’re not getting really good at something, really fast… then we must not be cut out for it.
I don’t buy that.
Some people are specialists. Some people are generalists. Some of us love the learning process, the figuring-it-out part, the “how does this thing work?” part — and that doesn’t make you flaky or untalented or bad at music.
It makes you human.
So if you’ve ever felt discouraged with music, creativity, hobbies, or just trying something new… this one’s for you. And if you’re looking for a simple, fun way to get back into playing, we’ve got plenty of free lessons, beginner-friendly instruments, and full courses here at Inglewood.
Thanks for being here.
