Cumberland First Run Production Update, & Shop Visit Feb'25
Our luthier, Nick, has been working non-stop, and all the lumber we sourced has now been transformed into necks and bodies, each one carefully shaped to perfection. Assembly is about to start, and it’s wild to think how close we are to getting these into your hands.
Highlights:
- Me choosing a terrible angle from which to shoot
- Sneak peek at the custom cases
- Book matched tops
- A stack of bodies (note 3 lefties in there!)
- Necks… note the channels for carbon fiber (not truss rod)
- And the quarter sawn part of the neck construction. It’s the little things….
- Fretboards are looking gorgeous
- This was taken ~2 weeks ago, and since then all the parts (fretboards included) are completely processed… actually got a pic from Nick of some bodies and tops being glued together
