One set of high definition steel and phosphor bronze strings specifically designed for the D-model Seagull Merlin.
This pack of strings is handmade here in Nashville, TN, and designed for the highest quality (clarity) experience on your Seagull Merlin. These are the same specifications as the strings used when Seagull ships the Merlin M4's. Same feel as your original strings, but a higher level of precision.
Each string comes individually wrapped in a separate sealed envelope to keep safe from the perils of air (aka, rust).
When replacing strings, be sure to replace one or two at a time, and avoid taking all of the strings off at once. Make sure to change your strings every few months (or more) to your Merlin dulcimer sounding rich, bright, and clear!
These are ball-end strings (like guitar strings).
This set of strings is for the DADD model, not the GDGG model. These strings will not work on the G model Seagull Merlin (that is the less more common model). Please contact us if you have questions about this.
NOTE: These are not the same type of strings that a pickin' stick or Strumstick variety stick dulcimer uses. Be sure you're purchasing the right item!
