One set of high definition steel and phosphor bronze strings specifically designed for the G-tuned Seagull Merlin. (These will not work on a D Merlin)
We at Inglewood Instruments selected the string configuration in partnership with our friends at Stringjoy, located here in Nashville, TN.
Each string comes individually wrapped in a separate vacuum-sealed package to keep them separate and protected from early aging, due to air.
When replacing strings, be sure to replace one or two at a time, and avoid taking all of the strings off at once. Make sure to change your strings every few months (or more) to your Merlin M4 sounding rich, bright, and clear!
These are ball-end strings (like guitar strings).
This set of strings is for the GDGG model, not the D model. These strings will not work on the D model Seagull Merlin (which is the more common model). Please contact us if you have questions about this.
NOTE: These are not the same type of strings that a pickin' stick or Strumstick variety stick dulcimer uses. Be sure you're purchasing the right item.
