One set of high definition steel and phosphor bronze strings specifically designed for the Cumberland River Dulcimer by Inglewood Instruments. (See note below regarding their use with Seagull Merlins)
These are made locally, here in Nashville, by our friends at Stringjoy.
Each string comes individually wrapped in a separate sealed envelope to keep them protected from oxidation (aging too soon).
When replacing strings, be sure to replace one or two at a time, and avoid taking all of the strings off at once. Make sure to change your strings every few months (or more) to keep your dulcimer guitar sounding rich, bright, and clear!
These are ball-end strings (like guitar strings).
This set of strings is for the DADD model, not the G or Guitars models.
NOTE 1: These strings WILL work on the D model Seagull Merlin (that is the more common model Seagull dulcimer), but they are a higher tension than the D strings shipped on the Merlin M4's. In our opinion these are a better fit for Merlins, but wouldn't want you picking a set that's not to your liking.
