Learn Jason Isbell's "Live Oak" on Stick Dulcimer

"Live Oak" from Jason Isbell's Southeastern album, is a heartbreakingly beautiful song, and very straightforward as a 1-Finger or Multi-Finger song. I laid out how to play it both ways here. If you're learning how to play and sing, this is a fine choice (though plenty of lyrics to keep up with).

This will work for a Seagull Merlin, Strumstick D, or Woodrow (featured). Following the chord shapes, though, will make it work in any key/tuning.

We've got a lot to share, so check out our Seagull Merlin Lessons.
