How to Hold & Strum a Stick Dulcimer Guitar in D (Seagull Merlin M4)

This video teaches you the basics of holding the instrument and strumming chords (or single notes!). Use this cycle to get comfortable playing your Stick Dulcimer Guitar. Slowly move into learning chords and work on getting the muscle memory down. The knowledge here is for a Seagull Merlin, but can be easily applied to other instruments, like a pickin' stick.

The main thing is to take it slow and work your speed up over time. Get the downstrokes even, in time, and ringing through all the way before moving to down+up strokes. Then incrementally push your speed (tempo) up as you feel more comfortable.
