Friends & Neighbors Derek Porter S1, Ep1

In this first installment of "Friends & Neighbors" I stopped over to Derek Porter's house to show him the "Cumberland River." He's never seen it before I hit record, and he only had a few minutes to monkey with it before we hit record. Is he rocking out like a hero? Nope, he's having a really good time just finding something fun to noodle with and he did it pretty quickly. 🤯

I've never heard Derek play before this video, despite having him known him the better part of the last (school) year. This is just the kind of fun thing that's easy to pull off on lunch breaks.

One of the things I'll tell anyone who'll listen long enough is that whether you've played for years or never at all, you can learn a song in minutes on a "Cumberland River." It's a boastful sort of statement, to be sure. But it's true. Give me a few minutes to show you something, and a few more minutes to play around, and I'm confident you'll be able to add a new tune to your catalog... or, if you've never played before, check "learn a musical instrument" off your bucket list. 🥳
