Compare Strumstick w/ Cumberland River Dulcimer | Inglewood Instruments
The McNally Strumstick has been around for over 30 years (40?), and while both instruments are born out of the dulcimer family tradition, they each offer a fairly different take on body style, construction, scale length, size, resonance, etc. I moved through the comparison quickly, but am pretty sure I hit all the major parts... feel free to point out any gaps, or ask questions!
This comparison is with the Grand McNally version, tuned DAD. They also make a smaller scale version, which is usually tuned GDG (at least, that's my understanding, and how mine was shipped, I'm sure there are variants).
